About the event
This event will harness the magic of Sonia's Leadership Training "The Biology of Cost & ROI" and then take it to a whole new level of a "think tank" like discussion, to find even better questions. On a practical level, "numbers-based permission to care" is at the heart of this event.
Key learning points
1. Three aspects of wellness that are usually missing and MUST be integrated into your wellness strategy (or you really cannot call it a wellness strategy.)
2. An understanding of how wellness and culture are two parts of a whole, which can make initiatives more efficient.
3. The permanent interconnectedness of your organization's culture goals with the world your people live in when they are not at work.
The biggest takeaway from this event will be a set of new questions that will help you find better answers, for yourself as a leader and for your organization.Â
So.... if you are interested and would like to know more about this event, read on:
Starting with a history of how we got here, and then a premortem on current culture and wellness strategies and what effective interventions look like, Sonia will illuminate the path with different questions. From there, our panel of beautiful & wise humans will get into the nitty-gritty with her. As you will see below, four of our panelists are from the Corporate World, one is from education, the other from healthcare/physician advocacy. This was most deliberate. If your business strategies do not understand the depth of your powerlessness and vulnerability in the face of the current state of education and healthcare, then you are bleeding effort, money, resources and vital life force.Â
This is a discussion for leaders everywhere that are fighting the good fight and can see that they are not winning the way they know they should. If input, effort and the expected results do not match up with actual results, you will find extraordinary value in this event. One of the failing frameworks we will look at in this event, is what we missed when we implement policies and programs to try to create different outcomes. We tend to start with 1. Awareness (of issue at hand)... and then we go straight to 4. Policy, procedure and program. Sonia will tell you about 2 and 3, the ones we usually miss.
At this point the panelists will enter the discussion and grapple with the hard questions. We will explore the moments in history where we f'd up, what we missed, and where to go from here. Grappling is key. Grappling into the gray, is brave. Digging in heals and picking a black or white side, is not.
The panel for this hard hitting grappling discussion is:
Neil Hunter | Chief Learning Officer, Partner at Deloitte Canada
Seth Anderson | CEO & Co-Founder, The Biz Dojo Inc
Tamara Lechner | Co-Founder, CreatePositive | Co-Host Flourishing at School Podcast
Olivia Morris | CEO & Co-Founder, Â Doctors Living
Eric Fraser | EVP of Products, CULTURE PARTNERS
Louise Reid | CEO, LHR Leadership Consulting | Host of Humanizing Leadership Podcast
We really can't wait to dive into this with you.Â
See you on December 13th at 11:00am CST, 12 pm EST, 9 am PST and 5 pm or so on the other side of the Atlantic!
PS. Yes, this event will be recorded and will be available for 7 days after the live event.
