Mommy Matters 2019

Dear Mommy,

We want you to know that you are not alone. Being a mom in this day and age has a set of challenges that did not exist even a few decades ago. We want to help you out with those challenges. Whether you have been a mommy for a while, just became one or will be come one soon, we want to offer you support and a balanced perspective.

Our goal with Mommy Matters is to create a safety net for you; one that is strengthened by local resources, help and support in our own community. We want to empower you with knowledge that is based in sound and diverse perspectives for all levels of your wellbeing; physical, mental and emotional. We want you to know that you have options and we are going to bring as many of them to you as we can: this event will touch on everything from regaining pelvic floor health, to breast feeding, mental health and ppd, doulas, massage therapists, infant massage, mommy boundaries and mommy guilt, the community resources available to you, chiropractic and osteopathic care, the microbiome, nutrition, physiotherapy and so much more.

To do this we are hosting a landmark event that brings together the best of BOTH Western and Natural Medicine - and a few things in between. The practitioners and therapists participating don't all agree on everything, and we likely never will. What matters is that what we do agree on is that moms need more support. It's our job to safely, and without agenda, explain to you what your options are and how to effectively navigate them so that you can get the support you need to be the amazing mom that you already are.

At Mommy matters we want to bring the village back, 2019 style.
