Grow with Gardening
Time & Location
About the Event
Most of us did not have mothers that would just hand us everything on a platter, we did have to put in some work, and it was worth it. Now we can teach our kids concepts of self-sufficiency while at the same time bringing some relief to our own fears of shortages during this pandemic.
Doing anything to bring our fear about the future down a bit, is helpful. Growing our own food or herbs, no matter how small or how big, will give you a sense of control, which will make you feel so much better.
Stacey will cover the following
1. The joy of gardening and having some control of where your food comes from.
2. Start a garden in any size.
3. Basic garden care.
There will be space for some questions from the viewers. If there are a lot of questions and you want to know more, we will do another one of these to help you along further :)
"People often ask me what one thing I would recommend to restore relationship between land and people. My answer is almost always, "Plant a garden." It's good for the health of the earth and it's good for the health of people." -Robin Wall Kimmerer
